Community

Community is at the heart of our business.

Goodline was established in the small town of Weipa in 1999 where the Kennedy family are active members of the community and believe in giving back wherever possible.

As Goodline has grown over the years, this commitment to the communities in which we live and work remains a core focus of who we are and how we operate as a business.

We are committed to giving back to local initatives, grass-roots sporting teams and community events through sponsorship, donations and resources.

World's Greatest Shave for Leukaemia Foundation

In 2013, Goodline rasied over $100,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation with a World's Greatest Shave event.

John Kennedy is well known for his signature beard, a look he has been sporting for over 25 years. However, he was ready and willing to shave it all off to help raise money for Australian's living with blood cancer.

The World's Greatest Shave tradition lives on at Goodline with several other projects and offices across Australia participating in their own events and raising even more funds.

Port Hedland Goodline Cockatoo Classic

Between 2014 and 2019, Goodline hosted the annual Cockatoo Classic, a community fishing competition that raised money for local groups and charities.

The events were organised by Goodline and involved a number of other businesses who donated towards prizing and giveaways. Held annually in October, the competition would attract over 220 keen fishermen vying for the largest catch.

Money raised through nomination fees and donations benefitted local organisations including the Children’s Ward at the Hedland Health Campus, Cassia Primary School, Hedland Senior High School and Treloar Child Care Centre.
